ROMANCINGYOURGIRLFRIENDSWITHKRISTINHANGGI+NATALIEROY
My first week in Bali was a vacation, pretty much the first vacation I’ve taken as an adult. Because I was with other people who were resting and not working, I actually stopped working fully--something I’m not great at doing but desperately need. This episode is with two of my “Expanders”, as Lacy Philips would put it: Kristin Hanggi and Natalie Roy, hosts of the Create podcast. Kristin is a prolific director, and I met her when I interviewed her on the podcast with Maddie Corman about a show she directed, Accidentally Brave. Natalie is an actress, acting teacher, and Kristin’s best friend. The two of them and their relationship endlessly inspire me, which you’ll hear in this episode. We also get into their Kristin and Natalie-isms, the importance of speaking up for yourself, group dynamics, rest and work, romancing and delighting girlfriends, intimacy and being seen, and way more.
